A moody day at the pond

Just some shots from my mid afternoon walk. Clocks change this weekend and I get madly depressed by it every year.

My plan is to try and get out for daytime walks every day. If I don't I may as well hibernate.

Pretty pleased with this shot of a swan. I've been adjusting my settings and shooting on low iso with a faster shutter. Giving a nice dark contrasty look.

A moody walk around Fleet pond

A moody walk around Fleet pond. The weather broke and we got some fantastic sunshine. The light breaking through the clouds into the forest is always a delight.

Fleet Pond Loop

Walked a loop of fleet pond with Bella. What a lovely evening. Took the WX350 as didn't feel much like carrying a big camera.

  • Quite a fee mushrooms around
  • Lovely golden hour
  • Broken mask
  • Fairly windy along the pond
  • Swans, Guls and Ducks around
  • Really quiet except for a few runners

Fleet Pond Dragonflies

Saw the cows and a couple of swans. Summer is still here, but it won't be forever. Get out there and enjoy it all!
